Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join a small but busy general practice legal firm based in Dundalk. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role that offers a great opportunity to grow within a well-regarded practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- General legal secretarial duties within a general practice setting
- Reception duties, including answering calls and welcoming clients
- Typing and audio typing of legal documents and correspondence
- Diary management for solicitors and professional staff
- Client liaison in person and by phone – including arranging appointments and following up on key dates
- Assisting in the smooth day-to-day running of the office
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a legal secretary or in an administrative role within a legal environment
- Previous experience in general practice law is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a busy office environment and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience with audio typing is an advantage
