Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join a busy and dynamic legal practice. This is a permanent, on-site position, offering direct support to the Principal of this respected firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing client files
- Preparing and typing legal documents and briefs
- General administrative duties including filing, archiving, scanning, photocopying, and faxing
- Managing diaries and scheduling meetings
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client contact information
- Handling confidential information in line with firm policies
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a legal secretarial role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in typing, including dictaphone/audio typing
- A proactive team player who can also work independently
